Here’s a live water parameter history view of my fairly new neocaridina shrimp tank. For ideal parameters and more information about neos, see this post. For all shrimp-related posts to-date, click here.
The top and bottom red horizontal, parallel lines indicate the rectangular area or band of a good range for the parameter in each chart. The blue line in each chart indicates my current reading for the parameter. Therefore, if the blue line falls inside the band (between top and bottom red lines), that is perfect. If the blue line is outside of the band (either below the bottom red line, or above the top red line), then my parameter value is too low or too high and I will need to adjust the water condition for those parameters accordingly.
The following charts are linked to live dataset, so when I update the data (usually weekly), these charts will automatically refresh.
Summary [Feb 22, 2024]: The pH, GH, KH, Nitrite, Nitrate and temperature are all within perfect range. However, there’s more work to be done (in progress) on reducing TDS. As seen, Nitrate used to be high but brought into safe range after planting several live plants.
Data will be updated as I make adjustments to water parameters and update the dataset accordingly.
The Nitrite (NO2) level should be zero and it is as the blue and red overlap exactly at the 0 y-axis in the following chart.
