Creating your own light show

With programmable LED strands, strips, and rings, it’s not only satisfying and fun but also a solid learning experience for any enthusiasts. Besides, who can ever get enough of tinkering with LEDs?

In this project, I connect a 24 pixel ring LED module to an Arduino board, then wrote some light effects functions in the IDE using Adafruit’s neopixel libary and let it loose!
Afterward, I connected this to a remote control unit so each effect “show” can be selectable via a button remotely, or just play the whole “show” remotely ‘forever’.

Here’s a quick clip of some of the effects functions at work…

Another clip of the programmable LED ring pixels…this under a translucent cover.
